I was up at 2:45 central time, waited for it to go live, then got two in my cart.  I then waited for the 3" independence day one to be able to go in my cart.  Once I got it in my cart, the yeti's were removed and not available anymore.  I was so frustrated I just gave up ordering all together.

I realize some people are lucky online but they should do things slightly more fair...

1) If you have less than 500, do like Amazon does on black friday and give people ticket numbers and then generate who gets it later in the day

2) Release it at a time of day that EVERYONE is awake... noon eastern / 9 am pacific... it worked for the first Disney Afternoon set why wouldn't it work now?

and finally

3) Once it is in someone's cart, REMOVE IT FROM AVAILABLE INVENTORY!!!  If you want, use the "ticketmaster" method of checkout where you have ten minutes.

We're talking about basic code implementation to do these things.

Doesn't hurt to shoot them an email. At the worst they can say they are sorry and cannot fufill the order.

Ironically, last night the Robots 2 BOGO had a big banner that said SOLD OUT just like the Yeti variant. This morning the Robots 2 sign is gone and they are back on the BOG but Yeti is not.

I agree with you Dan. Disney could do all you suggested. All it will do is increase sales and customer satisfaction. The cost, a few dollars. The gain, lots of dollars. Make sense anyone??
